Lego Movie Builds

Hey everyone! Today, I made some characters from recent movies, and decided to share with you who to make them. I tried doing it in a video, and it worked out great! Do you prefer me taking a bunch of pictures, or making a video? Anyway, the people I decided to make were Anger from Inside Out, Stuart from Minions, and Baymax from Big Hero Six.

LEGO Friends Airboat~Review

Hi guys! I am going to do a review on a mini Lego Friends set, which I don't know the name of. Really. I don't ;). All I know is that it is an airboat. So let's get started! I got this for Christmas as a stocking stuffer which tells you how small it was.
This is the set. Yea. Small.

Here is the boat. It includes two hooks on each side. One side has a
walkie-talkie, the other is empty and you can put whatever you want

The propeller spins. yay!

This is the minifigure. Her name is Olivia and she is the Lego Friends and princesses
style of minifigure, which means they're legs don't separate (Horrible for stopmotions)
and they cant sit down without a special piece. Also they are a bit taller than normal
minifigures.

The back. You can see she has no inverted studs on her legs. This is why
she can't sit ^

And a small part of a lake with a lily pad and frog. Awww!
That's it guys. You can see the set was tiny. Microscopic almost. I already had pictures taken so I thought why not? See you later!
[By the way, I said in my last post I was sick. I am feeling better now, but I still have a cough. Gabe is fully recovered. He got sick before me, so that's probably why.]

Lloyd's Jungle Raider~Time-Lapse

As promised in my last post/video, I have created the time-lapse for Lloyd's Jungle Raider! A Ninjago set I got. I am trying really hard to add music, but I just can't I am trying to put it on Youtube with music first, but it doesn't work out so bear with me if you get so bored watching this :P . It might have music though, as I have no way of checking it ;p

I also got ANOTHER new set. I already took the time-lapse video. I was going to do a stopmotion, that I would take a picture each time I put a piece on, but I had some lighting difficulties with that.

(Hint: The new set is one of the newer licensed themes! If you can guess which theme it is, I will give you a shout-out in my next post!)

Cracks on LEGO minifigs~Complaint

I don't usually do complaints about LEGO, but I recently noticed some cracks on my LEGO minifigures, even if they are newly bought and  I haven't played with them much. Pics below
\

The cracks always occur in the same area. The bottom right of the torso,
and the right arm. I bought Kai (Ninjago) about two weeks ago, and this already occurred!

Here are more pictures of other minifigs,
These cracks bother me when I am playing with the minifigs. Most of my figures have them. I am not sure what is the problem, but I try to brush it off. Just a small, stud-sized complaint to LEGO.

X-Wing Microfighter~A Review

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't been posting as often as before. As I said in a previous post, we started school in July, so I was extra busy, but now, time for a LEGO set review! Introducing, the  Star Wars X-Wing Microfighter! I got this at Target for 10 dollars. It is really neat, Time for the pics!

Here is the set

Pilot-Front view

Pilot-Back view

The ship

The wings can fold in, or pop out!

Another ship view

If you push these missiles, they shoot!

They can go farther than that...

Here is the mini-cockpit! The pilot can fit in it too!

Complaint to LEGO- Sometimes when I pull the pilot out, his legs stay inside
the cockpit

Like this...

Pilot: Ahhh! Give me my legs back!

View inside cockpit
That's it! I hope you enjoyed this! Don't forget to take our survey on the top of the blog!

Basic LEGO Language

So, you might have heard a bunch of acronyms, names, and abbreviations for Lego stuff that Lego fans use. What do they mean? Here are the translations of the basic Lego terms.

Studs-Those little bumps on the top of most Lego pieces/elements. Also Lego fan's way of measurement (see Measurement)
Elements-What you call any kind of Lego piece
Bricks-The basic Lego brick, usually 3 studs high
Plates-Flat Lego boards of any size. If you stack three of these plates on top of each other, it would be the same size as a brick.
Baseplates- Thinner than plates, usually large.
Tiles-Like plates, but has no studs on top.
Decorated/Printed Tiles-Tiles with any kind of pattern printed on them
AFOL-Adult Fan of LEGO
KFOL-Kid Fan of LEGO
TFOL- Teen Fan of LEGO

Measurement: In stead of using inches to measure Lego bricks, Lego fans use studs! For example,
This brick has 2 studs one way, and studs the other way, so we call it a 2x2, but you have to be more specific. Is it a plate? Is it a tile? Is it a brick? Yes! A brick so the full name would be "2x2  Brick" and if you would like to be more specific, you can add the color.

This is the basic Language of Lego! (this was a collab post, meaning both Angie and Gabe worked on it!)
